At Hirefy, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you can request a refund.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Who Qualifies?
- New subscribers only (first-time purchases)
- All subscription tiers (Monthly, Yearly, and any promotional plans)
- Requests made within 30 days of initial payment
What's Covered?
You can receive a full refund if you're not satisfied with Hirefy for any reason within the first 30 days.
How to Request?

- Include:
- Your account email
- Order/transaction ID
- Brief reason for refund (optional but helpful)
- We'll process your request within 2 business days
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days
After 30 Days
General Policy
Subscriptions purchased more than 30 days ago are generally non-refundable.
Exceptions
We may grant refunds in special circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If our service was unavailable for extended periods
- Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same period
- Compassionate Cases: Medical emergencies, hardship situations (at our discretion)

- Your account email
- Explanation of circumstances
- Any supporting documentation
We review exception requests case-by-case and respond within 3-5 business days.
Free Trials
No Charge, No Refund Needed
If you cancel during your free trial period:
- You will NOT be charged
- No refund is necessary
- Your access continues until the trial ends
How to Cancel Free Trial
- Go to App Settings → Subscriptions
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
- You'll see confirmation that you won't be charged
Important: Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends to avoid charges.
Partial Refunds
Not Available
We do not provide partial refunds for:
- Unused time in a billing period
- If you stop using the service mid-cycle
- Features you didn't use
- Subscription downgrades
Why?
Our pricing is calculated based on access to the full service for the entire billing period, not usage-based.
Renewals and Cancellations
Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel
- You're responsible for canceling before the next billing date
- No refunds for auto-renewals after the 30-day window
How to Cancel to Avoid Future Charges
In the App:
- Settings → Account → Subscriptions
- Select your active subscription
- Choose "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
Via Email:
- Email contact@hirefy.careers with subject "Cancel Subscription"
- Include your account email
- We'll process within 24 hours
Important: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until then.
Promotional Offers and Discounts
Special Pricing
If you purchased at a promotional price:
- Refunds are based on the discounted price you paid
- Not the regular full price
- All other refund terms apply
Coupon Codes
- Refunds for coupon code purchases follow the same 30-day policy
- We cannot honor expired or invalid coupons retroactively
Payment Failures and Declined Transactions
Failed Payments Are Not Refunds
If your payment fails or is declined:
- This is not a refund situation
- You were never charged
- Check with your bank/card issuer
- Update your payment method to restore access
If You Were Charged After a Failed Payment
Contact contact@hirefy.careers immediately. We'll investigate and refund if you were incorrectly charged.
Chargebacks

Before filing a chargeback with your bank:

- We'll work with you to resolve the issue
- Most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably
Consequences of Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us may result in:
- Immediate account suspension
- Permanent ban from using Hirefy
- Collection efforts for legitimate charges
- Legal action in cases of fraud
We prefer to resolve issues directly and will work with you in good faith.
Refund Processing Times
Timeline
- Request received: We acknowledge within 24 hours
- Review: 1-2 business days (may take longer for exception requests)
- Approval notification: Email confirmation sent
- Refund processed: 2-3 business days
- Funds in your account: 5-10 business days (depends on your bank)
Total Time
- Fastest: 5-7 business days
- Typical: 7-10 business days
- Maximum: 15 business days
International Refunds
Currency Conversion
If you paid in a currency other than USD:
- Refunds are issued in the original currency
- Exchange rate fluctuations may result in slight differences
- We cannot control currency conversion rates or fees
Payment Method
- Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for purchase
- If that method is no longer valid, contact us for alternative arrangements
Multiple Subscriptions
Separate 30-Day Windows
If you subscribe, cancel, and resubscribe:
- Only your first subscription qualifies for the 30-day guarantee
- Subsequent subscriptions are subject to the standard refund policy
- This prevents abuse of the money-back guarantee
Data and Content After Refund
Account Status
After a refund:
- Your subscription is canceled immediately
- You may retain free plan access (if available)
- Your resume data is retained according to our Privacy Policy
- You can request data deletion separately
Resume Data
Your uploaded resumes and analysis:
- Are NOT automatically deleted with a refund
- Remain accessible on the free plan (if offered)
- Can be deleted upon request to contact@hirefy.careers
