1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Hirefy ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
Important: These Terms contain a binding arbitration clause and class action waiver (Section 14), which affect your rights to resolve disputes.
2. Description of Service
Hirefy is an AI-powered resume optimization platform that:
- Analyzes resumes for ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility
- Provides keyword suggestions and formatting recommendations
- Offers industry-specific resume improvement tips
- Tracks resume optimization progress over time
- Provides resume scoring and feedback
Hirefy is a tool to improve your resume. We do not:
- Guarantee job placements or interviews
- Write or create resumes from scratch
- Provide career coaching or counseling services
- Apply to jobs on your behalf
3. Eligibility
To use Hirefy, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Be at least 13 years old with parental consent
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Registration
4.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing:
- Valid email address
- Secure password
- Any additional required information
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain account security.
4.3 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false or misleading information.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
5.1 Subscription Tiers
We offer multiple subscription plans:
- Free Plan: Limited features with usage restrictions
- Monthly Plan: Full features with monthly billing
- Yearly Plan: Full features with annual billing at discounted rate

5.2 Free Trial
New users may receive a free trial period. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
5.3 Billing
- Payment Processing: Payments are processed through RevenueCat and Stripe
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel
- Price Changes: We may change prices with 30 days' notice
- Billing Cycle: You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period
- Payment Methods: Credit card, debit card, or other methods we support
5.4 Taxes
Prices do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for all taxes associated with your subscription.
5.5 Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- We will attempt to charge your payment method again
- Your access may be suspended after 7 days
- Your account may be canceled after 30 days
- You remain responsible for all unpaid amounts
6. Cancellation and Refunds
6.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Via app settings
- By contacting contact@hirefy.careers
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You will retain access until the end of your billing period
6.2 Refund Policy
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee:
- New subscribers can request a full refund within 30 days of initial purchase
- Email contact@hirefy.careers with your request
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
- Only applies to first-time purchases
After 30 Days:
- Subscriptions are generally non-refundable
- Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion
- Partial refunds are not provided for unused time in a billing period
Free Trial:
- No refund necessary if you cancel during the trial period
- You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends
7. Acceptable Use Policy
7.1 Permitted Use
You may use Hirefy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
7.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:

- Upload resumes containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Submit content that violates intellectual property rights
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
- Use the Service to discriminate based on protected characteristics
Technical Restrictions:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Bypass any security measures or rate limits
Commercial Restrictions:
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Use the Service for competitive purposes
- Create derivative works without permission
Misuse:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials
- Use the Service to spam or harass others
7.3 Consequences of Violation
Violation of these Terms may result in:
- Warning or suspension of your account
- Immediate termination without refund
- Legal action if necessary
- Reporting to appropriate authorities
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Hirefy's IP
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Hirefy and protected by:
- Copyright
- Trademark
- Patent
- Trade secret
- Other intellectual property laws
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without express written permission.
8.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to your resume content and any materials you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process your resume content
- Use AI/ML to analyze and provide recommendations
- Display your content back to you
- Create anonymized data for improving our Service
We will never:
- Sell your resume content to third parties
- Share your personal information without consent
- Use your resume for purposes other than providing the Service
8.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Hirefy, you grant us an unlimited, irrevocable license to use such feedback without compensation.
9. AI and Resume Processing
9.1 AI Analysis
Our Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze your resume. You acknowledge:
- AI suggestions are automated and may not be perfect
- You are responsible for reviewing and approving all changes
- AI is a tool to assist, not replace, your judgment
- Results may vary based on individual circumstances
9.2 No Guarantees
While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee:
- Specific ATS scores or improvements
- Interview invitations or job offers
- That all suggestions will be applicable to your situation
- Complete accuracy of AI-generated recommendations
9.3 Human Review
You should always review AI suggestions with human judgment before:
- Submitting your resume to employers
- Making significant career decisions
- Relying on automated scores or feedback
10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
10.1 Service "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY
10.2 No Professional Advice
Hirefy does not provide:
- Legal advice
- Career counseling
- Professional resume writing services
- Employment placement services
Always consult with qualified professionals for specific advice.
10.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIREFY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE
- BUSINESS INTERRUPTION
- FAILURE TO OBTAIN JOB INTERVIEWS OR EMPLOYMENT
Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
10.4 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hirefy, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of any third-party rights
- Content you upload or submit
12. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with third-party services:
- Payment Processing: Stripe, RevenueCat
- Cloud Hosting: AWS
- AI Providers: OpenAI, Anthropic
- Analytics: Google Analytics
We are not responsible for the practices or services of these third parties. Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Modification of Service and Terms
13.1 Service Changes
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features at any time
- Add new features or services
- Change pricing with 30 days' notice for existing subscribers
13.2 Terms Updates
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Email notification
- In-app notification
- Posting updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date
Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
14.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at contact@hirefy.careers to seek informal resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days.
14.2 Binding Arbitration
READ CAREFULLY: Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration, NOT in court, except as described below.
Arbitration Rules:
- Governed by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Consumer Arbitration Rules
- Conducted via phone, online, or in-person in your location or San Francisco, CA
- Arbitrator's decision is final and binding
- You waive your right to a jury trial
14.3 Exceptions to Arbitration
You may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement.
14.4 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
14.5 Opt-Out
You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice to contact@hirefy.careers within 30 days of first using the Service. You must include your name, address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out.
15. Termination
15.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Canceling your subscription in app settings
- Contacting contact@hirefy.careers
- Following the account deletion process
15.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account:
- For violation of these Terms
- For non-payment
- For fraudulent activity
- At our discretion with or without cause (with refund of unused subscription time)
15.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will cease
- Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy (typically within 30 days)
- You may request immediate data deletion
- Outstanding payments remain due
16. General Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hirefy.
16.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
16.3 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
16.4 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive that right or provision.
16.5 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate.
16.6 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, etc.).
16.7 Notices
Notices to you will be sent to your registered email address. Notices to us should be sent to contact@hirefy.careers.
